The Netherlands is in the north, the capital is Amsterdam. The most important cities in the Netherlands are Rotterdam, Delft, Den Haag, Gouda and Utrecht and their official languages are Dutch and Dutch sign language.
The current currency is the euro, and in 2002 the Dutch guilder (gulden). His name is Dutch. The telephone prefix is +31.

Hello, we are Group 2, consisting of Lucia, Izan, Nayara and Victor, and we’re going to talk about The Netherlands, which is located in the northwest of Europe.
The capital of The Netherlands is Amsterdam, and their native language is Dutch and English, and they are also called Dutch. Other important cities of The Netherlands are Alkmaar, Róterdam and Groningen.
Some of the more official knowledge is for example that the currency they use is the Euro, as in most of Europe, the Dutch telephone prefix is “+31”, their car initials are NL, and their COI code, which is used for the Olympics Games are HOL, since 1988, and nowadays is NED. And also their internet domain is “.nl”.

They have a lot of important festivities, so here are some of them, on the 6th of December is celebrated Sinterklass (Saint Nicolas), on the 27th of April is Koningsdag (King’s Day) and three days later, on the 30th is Koninginnedag (Queen’s Day), and lastly on the 4 of May is Nationale Dodenherdenking (remember of the dead). And their traditional dresses are called Vollendame, and are also worn with a pair of wooden shoes called Klompen, in The Netherlands these are known as Dutch Maids.
Finally, here are some fun facts about The Netherlands that you might not know, first of all, did you know that in The Netherlands there are more bikes than people? The citizens like to travel a lot by bike because it is easier, and the tulip is their most characteristic flower, and it's represented in a lot of Dutch art. Lastly, Anne’s Frank previous house, before moving to Germany, is located in Amsterdam, and its now known as the Museum of Anne Frank.
