Letters

Nowadays we use technology to communicate most of the time. We have so many instant messaging apps and social networks that we forgot how it feels to receive a message on a piece of paper.  The excitement of getting home, checking our mailbox and opening the envelope to know what somebody wants to tell us is something everybody should experience at least once in their lifetime. So, every student got a penpal and we all wrote letters and put little presents in the envelopes, such as stickers, beautiful pens or other stationary, or drawings we did ourselves. It was very exciting to get presents from abroad, everybody was so happy! We also learned how to write a letter and actually send it. It wasn't that easy to find a mailbox in some cases! Anyway, it was a great experience. Some of the penpals kept writing to each other and exchanged instant messages wishing each other happy holidays and became friends.
